RIP Bill Mick
Late Friday night my grandpa Bill Mick passed away in his sleep at the age of 83. He will be greatly miss. He was the first in our family to coon hunt and did it as long as he physically could. The cool thing was that his son , grandson and both of his great grandson was out treeing coons on the night he passed. I don’t believe he would have wanted it any other way!! I know he’s up there sitting on a bench with my grandma drinking a cup of coffee listening to old Rolling Hills Leroy tree several coons!! He alway loved to pass on his dog training to other people he needed the help!!
RIP Grandpa,
I love you with all my heart and will never forget all the great times and also give you my word we will always continue coon hunting for the rest of my life!!
A very knowledgeable dog man and a fine gentleman..... RIP Bill Mick.

Skyler, sorry to hear buddy, but I’d say if he was a Mick, he was a good one, never got to meet him, but I can tell you and your dad come from good stock. Prayers up for you and your family, tree some more for him!

Skylar, We are so sorry to hear of your family's loss. Passing on his love of hunting to three more generations had to make him proud!
🙏 up to you all from the Cummings family.

Bill Mick
May God comfort the Mick family.
I first met Bill while attending KSU in 1969 at the local coon club at Wamego, Kansas. Bill was training Houses Tom Tom and Rolin Hills Dan.
I was a green hunter that had taken my dog to coonhound to college with me and was extremely green at it. Bill gave me advice and didn't take advantage of my inexperience like many others did. Bill was a good dog trainer and "walked the walk". Ken Risley
