Shane
What sizes do you have & do you have the Chew Proof Kits to go with them ?
Seems there is alot of Extras to Buy on top of the already Salty Price.
I have gotten to where I don't care for the Traditional Dog Boxes we have used for years.
Thanks
Tim

The Gunners are too heavy and too expensive for me. I prefer the Ruffland Kennels with Mud River Covers.

Yep......I had considered those as well.
My Buddy here in Peru has Bird Dogs & that's what he uses.
Thanks
Tim

Checkout the dakota 283 kennels. Built well. The door has a slap Latch not the stupid squeeze latches like cheaper crates. It’s better than the rufflands but not as big and heavy as a gunner. I paired that with a mud river cover and dogs stay very warm in the winter. Pull the cover off In the summer and you get a lot of airflow. A 55 pound dog fits great in a medium. I have a 75 pound dog that’s really leggy too and he just barely fit in the medium he’d be more comfortable in the next size up. You can also purchase a Ryobi fan and hang it on the door of this kennel and really push some air around if you need it.

Used plastic airplane crates for years out of ease of use and had them readily available sometimes free when I had a dog shipped in..Certainly was shell shocked at what these bad boys cost and around my place the only ones that ever used them were the bird dog and lab folks so they didnt catch on much with the tree dog and running dog market. They are well constructed and usually can be found used fairly easy after that rush a few years back.
