Airing of grievances

I am about done with BBOA.
Why ?
I have been a member of this organization since 1979.
39 years. In the beginning I use to sign up under husbands name and there will be years that someone screwed up and did not get my dues in to the proper people. Other years the money was stolen and not submitted. One year my membership along with 6 others was still laying on the National presidents desk unopened when the books came out. Where's my book. Oh. I am sorry . Never opened this mail. Yeah right.
But through it all I remained a faithful member.

I am tired of never getting a ballot FOR ANYTHING!!!

I am tired of seeing people voted into a life time achievement awards that have not hunt in over 15-20 years ,with one hit wonders and nothing else. That don't even hunt any more.

Dogs get voted into hall of fame because the ballot to get them there is stacked by family members or a bunch of buddies voting for them.
Dogs and people more deserving get over looked because it has become a popularity contest and buddy ,buddy vote.

Officers that fail no, refuse to work with membership.

Back stabbing fellow members (Officers even) that call you derogatory names to other members.

And the straw that broke the back. This recent rules proposal bull.

These proposals are supposed to be submitted for voting members to have a say.
Where was my questionnaire ?
I never got to vote on anything.
Let' back up first.
I have tried to get a proposal submitted the last few times.
It was and has been rejected because I WAS TOLD I need to submit it at the national meeting. A FALSEHOOD.

Even with this scenario This means as a member I can not vote OR submit one with out being at the national meeting.
SO I GO UN- REPRESENTED.
So I got to drive several hundred miles to have a say. HA HA HA. What a joke
Then after much ado I finally get it accepted but it is not the same wording as I submitted. Done on purpose? Who knows. How hard is it to copy and paste ?
Something is wrong with this organization .
National officers stealing ,Zones officers stealing.

BBCHA president jumped on me one year because I forgot I had not joined at Ashland one year BECAUSE SOMEONE FORGOT TO SEND OUT CARDS TO THE REPS THERE.
My fault but I was accused of trying to get a book on the cheap . NO.. I tried to give them the whole 30.00 even though it was now March of the new year.
So after being a member for over 30 years I told them Bye ,Bye also.

Yes I am angry and have no intentions of rejoining unless thngs change .

there are new officers in now if you paid your dues and ukc is getting ready to mail out hall of fame ballots if you don't receive one contact parry or jewel edman jewel is the new sec/treasure I'm trying my best to do what needs done

Clubs

Clubs can be great and or awful. The old saying goes you can't please everyone. Weather you belong or don't or won't ever again. Clubs start with a good idea to make a difference for the best. Often we find they don't. But sum times they do and can. I could go though what each clubs benefits are, but if they don't take care of their members before long they become memberless. Regardless of what club you chose or don't chose to belong to, if it be Bluetick Boys Often Aire, Bluetick Bunch Carrying Hate Around, or Bluetickers Operating on Stolen fundS, yes I've heard it all, at some point we need to put our personal issues aside and get back to looking out for the hounds best. The old saying some people would complain if you hung them with a new rope, I would reply only until their feet quit Twitching. A house divided can not stand. So lets stop with all the hating and name calling and just get back to, Hey your hound done great job there, hey what can I do to help the club, Hey if that old guy or kid needs anything I'd be glad to leaned a hand to help. Instead of kicking against the cornerstone all the time, Lets start lifting the breed. And maybe things will start looking up for all.

Nope ,last time I had a dog that won KING OF HUNT at a BBOA sectional I never even got the invitational notice.
I left that one out on one of my gripes.

And the club that held the event you mention this past weekend gas lighted me the last hunt I entered there and lied to protect an out right lying ,cheating crook.
He should had been BARRED.
But they went deaf, dumb, and stupid like the three little monkeys.

Oh I forgot to mention about the time I had a BULLSEYE / CROSSHAIRS drawn on a picture of me by a fellow Blueticker because I refused to award a hunt to their club after a lousy .50 bid per dog. WE WERE BROKE AND HE KNEW IT.
I was elected Zone chairman after having all money stolen by the treasurer. I got our zone back in the black. All officers were bonded then. The National President refused to help me by getting a bond payment and letting the bond company chase the individual.
HE WAS AFRAID OUR BOND COST WOULD INCREASE. WHAT???
That's like having insurance . Wrecking and not using it because your premium will go up.

Then he refused to even speak with me when I would even call about other issues .
So that was the thanks I got for all the phone time and expense to get this zone in the black.
Yeah, I stepped down.
When you get no cooperation from the national level to help a zone in trouble .
