Ny city controls the state. The rest of the state is Rep. just not enough of us to overturn the city vote. Thats why they vote to split the state gets shut down everytime. The city needs our taxes to keep running.

William is absolutely right. Did you notice that the creator of this bill is a Democrat from Greenwich which is New York City area . The western side of the state that I call the "country and farmland side" is Republican. The majority of the population is city side. They have no clue in the Big City where their food comes from or anything about hunting and fishing!! Democrat Cuomo even passed a law to raise minimum wage in NY but made it $15/hr for the city of NY and $12 for the rest of the state since the workers in the city seem to be more important. We pay the highest taxes in the US I guess time to move.

come on down to NC. we can use more real republicans. We just voted in a guy we thought was a republican to our county board of commissioners. Now here he is talking about imposing a tether law in the county. I asked him if he was sure he was even a republican.

Y’all are at a disadvantage as far as equality when it comes to laws passed. Ny state vs. NY City. Ny city makes up approximately 43% of the states population but it’s all those surrounding counties that pave the way for the states agenda. I will never be back that’s for sure. Left in 96 and ain’t looked back. But one shinning star y’all have is that Alexandria Ocasio Cortez!!! She’s a go getter. Lol. Good luck!
