-- Grand Masters Question. (http://forums.ukcdogs.com/showthread.php?threadid=928502351)
Grand Masters Question.
The rules say that the owner of the dog does not have to hunt the dog he won the slam with or even entered to hunt in the Grand Masters.
$300 entry fee. Advanced entries only. Deadline is Friday, August 10, 2018. Consideration for entry will be given first to the registered owner of a dog who was a cast winner at a Super Slam Series Event; followed by, the owners of a dog entered in a Super Slam who was not a cast winner until the maximum entry of 64 has been met. The dog entered does not have to be the same dog that won a cast at a Super Slam Series Event; however, it must be a dog that is registered to the same Sole Signatory or any one Successor.
Does this mean that if you own dogs that have entered in the slams. Only one entry per owner in Grand Masters or does each dog entered count as an eligible entry for the owner?

Bruce, if you own a dog that was entered in a Super Slam, it qualifies you or any of that dog's co-owners, to enter ONE dog in the Grand Masters.
You're correct in that the dog entered in the GM's does not have to be the same dog that was entered in the S Slam. Just needs to be connected ownership-wise.
And..... each dog entered in a S Slam counts as an entry to the Grand Masters.
.
Thanks!

Now I am even more confused. Are you saying that an owner that enters 2 of his dogs in a Super Slam can only hunt one dog in the Masters?
.
Think Allen clarified that in his second post. Each dog entered counts as an entry. Enter five dogs and you have 5 entries. That was basically my question and I think he said YES you can have more than one dog in the Grand Masters.
I saw that you enter one dog and you can change dogs because it was tied to the owner. Just wanted to make sure one owner can have more than one dog in the Grand Masters. If I have to send one guy off 10 or 12 hours to hunt in one of these there will be two guys and dogs going. I would want both dogs in the Grand Masters and not be limited to one.

Thanks, I guess that I get confused easily anymore.
