Hey fellow froze up Midwestern hunters. Looks like the January thaw is gonna happen and we will get a few more nights before our kill season ends here in Hoosier country. Looking forward to it for sure!!

Thaw

Been waiting for this for a while now. Larry I hunted with a buddy right next to chain of lakes last night in some of the best hunting in northern Indiana. They weren’t running very well before midnight. Made few dens . Then managed to tree this one at about 11 n decided to end on a good note. Looking forward to tonight. Good luck!

Thanks Dave n Larry. Yep this is one of my favorite times of year . Makes it tuff on em with the snow n ice. We covered a lot of ground last night b fore getting struck which is pretty unusual for huck. He had to work for that one. Larry ur 2”s was freezing rain for us down here. Might b a ruff one tonight. Not even sure if ol’ Ricky will even try sliden down out of his den tonight but I’m gonna give it a go.
