Orangeburg

Pretty good hunting for the most part. Some hogs, depending on where you go, not so much the armadillos. Edisto river basin area. Good swampy areas and croplands. Really good raccoon population.

The orangeburg and ridgelands are has some of the best hunting anywhere. I have hunted down there and scored on 4-6 singles in a cast several times. I have also hunted down there and not scored on a coon. If you've never been go and keep an open mind and have a good time. If you've got more than one pair of boots I would take extra clothes and extra boots just in case you get in deeper water and get wet.
