Dog Box Stand
Somebody one here made and marketed a very handy dog box stand.
Basically it was a stand the height of the tailgate with rollers on it. You backed up to it and rolled the dog box out and then rolled it back on when you needed it.
Very nice concept.
I have need of one now, been searching everywhere for one and GOOGLE has left me without one.
Anyone know where something like this can be found?

The Box Buddy
How many times have you struggled and strained to get your dog box on or off the old rig? How many times have you had to wait for your hunting buddy, or worse, had to ask your wife or kids to help you load or unload the box?
With the Box Buddy, you can your unload your dog box by yourself!
The Box Buddy is an adjustable stand used for the loading and unloading of your dog box. It is adjustable in height and will acommodate most full size or smaller dog boxes. They are available for $95 plus shipping. We can ship to you via UPS. COD or money orders accepted.
The frame of the Box Buddy is one-inch, 16 gauge steel tubing, fastened with galvanized stove bolts to permit breakdown for shipping. The entire unit is powder-coated, and like Henry Ford’s Model T, comes in any color as long as it’s black.
The height of the device is matched to the tailgate height by 5-postion telescoping adjustable legs. Simply push the spring-loaded button to change the height of each leg.
The dog box is easily transferred to the Box Buddy as a result of three galvanized steel conveyor rollers. The rollers are 14 inches long and are 1.9 inches in diameter. Each roller has a 260-pound load rating and features commercial grade ball bearings for long wear and smooth performance.
Metal plate is welded onto the framework at the back and sides to secure the box on the stand once it is fully onto the Box Buddy.
A safety chain attaches to the latch on the dog box door to prevent the box from rolling off the open end when it is fully removed from the truck.
With the Box Buddy, unloading your box is as easy as one, two, three.
One - Position the lightweight Box Buddy behind the truck, adjusting the legs to fit the tailgate height.
Two – Slide the box off the truck and onto the Box Buddy. It’s snap due to the conveyor rollers. The center furring strip on the bottom of my Mullins Dog Box rides perfectly on the conveyor roller.
Three – Snap the safety chain to the gate latch on the dog box and drive away. Once the box is transfered back to the truck the Box Buddy can easily be moved to the storage area due to lightweight construction.
I made my own. 4 rollers 4x4 piece of plywood enough 2x4 to make it the right height and strong it enough to stand up and not wobble. 4" lip on one end to fit over tail gate and their you go. Use new lumber or use what you have on hand. My dog box is 48"x48" 30 " high. I load and unload by myself. Make sure to buy roller wheels that will turn and not the ones that only go back and forth.
