Members should have their BBOA and/or BBCHA book in hand. Can't remember having both this early in the year. Thanks for all the hard work putting the books together. Special thanks for all the members and sponsors putting adds & articles in the book.

BBCHA blue book

Got mine on Friday. Already read it from cover to cover. Its GREAT! Good job by everyone who had anything to do with it. Jerry Brumfield. P.S. The BBOA blue book was great also.

Got mine as well but have not had time to look at it. I could not help but notice the cover which said "The Versatile Breed". Ironically, this is the title that I used in the article that I wrote which was published in last year's book.
I pray that the Bluetick breed does not go the way of all of the others as we try to produce a World Champion Coondog. The qualities of taking an old lion, coon or bobcat track and working it until the game is jumped and pushing it to tree or fight is what a hound was supposed to do. The dog should do it by honoring another dog in the pack and giving mouth as the track dictates. I know that I will continue to breed for these characteristics and hope that I am not the only one.
A HUGE thanks to all of the great folks who make this publication possible.
Adios,
gary
