Facebook and Dog jockeys

The new dog jockeys paradise. I'm amazed at some of the adds being put on there. I'm subscribed to several coon hunting groups on FB and it's mind boggling ,,,,just about every one of them is by some kid that ain't gotta clue what a coondog is. They describe a 6 month old pup as just needs hunting,,,,,,ain't had a chance! OK,,,,I'm thru raving!

I didnt know north Ga had so many dog traders. You can buy a world beater for $200.

The Local Craigslist

Our local C-list has some world beaters on there sometimes. That is if you are willing to pay the, "re-homing" fee. LOL.

Know exactly what you mean. Alot of very inappropriate posts pictures and videos of either starved dogs, coon fight ect too. You tube has a fair share too.

yep it is full of kids and dogs , but i'll tell ya what I happened on a gyp that is bred real well was 13 months old and a looker and '' just needed a little woods time '' and due to college the girl couldn't hunt her enough .

long story short she turned into one of the best 150.00 investments I have made in a while . she had the breeding and I took the chance and it worked out purty good lol

so even with all the hooey on their sometimes it works out in an old mans favor lol .

I bought one off c-list about 4 years ago. The guy lived close by so i went and got her on trial. Took her that night to management land and treed 2 coons. Her only fault was she wouldnt hunt deep alone unless you walked with her. I still have her and shes training the 3rd pup for me. Not a bad investment for $250.

I've never had any problems dealing with anyone. Of course at the first sign of stupidity or ignorance, I quickly decline and walk away. A little common sense goes a long way.

I also have seen my fair share of worrisome posts, but I was also encouraged by the fact that many people seem to jump on and flame the guy for posting with such little discretion.
