Hi Daniel, The mother of your female is a sister to PCH.Southern Pines Mo,or in UKC Gr.Nite Ch.Darby Creek Mo.
I have a son of Mo, and Mill Creek Abbie
(Abbie was a Nite Ch.,Gold Ch. and was a littermate sister to Mill Creek Mollie),His name is Butch and he is a coondog, and has been a pleasure to own and hunt.Butch is very independent,he will be alone and have a raccoon when he trees.
I am pretty sure Eddie Holliday owns the male your female is out of, I believe he owned her mother and he made the cross she is out of.Eddie also owned Hickory Flat Jill, she was a littermate to a dog named Jailer that A.D. Clemons owned and won a lot with years ago.Pat Redmond owned the Grand Nite Lady female, and made the cross Mo was out of, Pat had a full brother to Mo and he was a Grand Nite as well.
Get a hold of Eddie or Pat and they will be able to help you.

Do you feel that she took off her mother or father?

I am pretty familiar with pups out of tequila cane and as he resided here in PA a number of years. I have also hunted quite a few pups out of fred. As far as styles of hunters, they are much different imo.

Tequila Cane imo from the research I done took more after his mother Hard Knocking Cindy who is a full littermate to hayes Jr, the sire of your pups mother.

From what I saw and heard this line of dogs was known for throwing very well balanced coon dogs, that could flat out tree some coon.

Unfortunately this line of dogs has pretty much been overshadowed by Harry also out of Stylish Hayes sr. Harry was obv well known for throwing some drive and wide hunting dogs. I often wonder though if Hayes Jr and Cindy threw a better nosed dog with better accuracy, and more balance.

The pup I hunted out of cane was line bred on stylish hayes the sire being tequila cane, son of cindy, crossed on a stylish hayes semen daughter who had a bunch of money won in pkc. Hence how I came to the conclusion, that this knack of being able to tree a lot of coon quickly in a small amount of woods, came from cindy(stylish Hayes) and not sunrise.
Not a 100 percent sure, but I believe it to be an educated guess.

The pup I had is now out in your state some wheres with a pleasure hunter. that I believe has bred him. Im sure jon would be more then happy to take you hunting with him if you ever so desire. he wasn't perfect but he seemed to have that knack for treeing a lot of coon in a small amount of woods. I had him tree 3 differentcoon in a 100 to 200 yard hedgerow in about 40 minutes by himself, shortly before I sold him. I still consider trying to buy him back.

I'm not sure if this is the type of dog or trait or whatever you want to call that you are trying to find or identify, or find more of.. but I would look towards hayes jr and that litter if I were you. Hope this helps

Ive considered making a similar cross as your pup basically it would be fred x stylish hayes (with no harry). Obv it wouldn't be very close, but I would like to combine the nose and balance that hayes threw with hunt and smarts that I see in freds off spring. Both lines are fairly quick and accurate imo, so hopefully maintain those.

I may do this by breeding my female to semen out of tequila cane (depending if curt would sell any at a reasonable price.)

so basically it would be

...............rat
......sunrise
............stylish silk
Tequila cane
..................stylish hayes
......cindy
..................turners jewel

pups
............skuna river fred
......grntch moneys freckles
...............giaovnes noctunral lacy 2
My female(currently tied for fifth chkc in the state)
................nocturnal kane
......mcooys late nite gungho
..............can't remember lol

kinda like your pups pedigree

From what I've been told by Eddie Holiday I believe this female took more off of her bottom side, or at least her mother was the same style .Tight mouth , cold nose , can tree any kind of coon, probably the best "coon finder" I've seen in a while . Plus she's accurate .

I've hunted with a couple off Hayes Jr. and always found them to be blow down tree dogs that weren't very good about having a coon, but this one is different .
