Hunted with him a couple times. All coon dog. Hunts good. Likes to get by himself with the coon. Tight on the ground, but can tree coon that others can't smell. I have a female off him. She hunts good. Hard tree dog when she trees. Doesn't tree unless she can smell the coon. She is rattle headed. Don't like that about her, but not blaming it on Cozar. Her momma was a little crazy for awhile too.

Rattle headed? What's that exactly? How is Cozars mouth? When you say tight on the ground, how tight?

My pup dog barks when you first cut her loose. She is a big good looking thing. Cozar has a good mouth. 10 being the best, I would put him at a 7 or 8. I hunted with him one night and it was hot out. He just fell treed twice. Both coon looking. We drove to him on the second tree to get closer and you could hear him treed when we were driving. He was probably a half mile. The next time was late November, and he put on a show. Got split a few times and had the meat. He is also one of the best looking dogs I've seen in a long time. Built like a quarter horse. Big head. Mike will tell you that he is tight on the ground unless it's a running coon. Hope this helps

Can only go by mine. Haven't saw any others. Mine hunts good with my other dog. She has went from day one. She doesn't open up on any cold tracks, but opens up good on a medium to hot track. Good mouth and when she trees, she barks about 100 barks per min.

Thanks
Anybody have a pic of Cozar? Or pups off him?

Here's a female off him that's doing pretty good. I got rid of her but going to get a pup off her
