TriTronic Battery Replacement G2

Anybody know where G2EXP Transmitter(Handheld not collar) batteries can be bought?It seems that they have been discontinued.
I saw a post awhile back that there was someone that could replace them. Can't find the post.

What gets me is some are still selling the G2 with the same pack.
If this is true it means in a few years the hand held will be junk.
Mine is only 4 years old and I am not very happy right now about it.

Thanks, but I think that is an old link. They are not in the store anymore.
Word to wise to everyone.Batteries are no longer available.You need to buy a new transmitter .My unit was only 3 1/2 years old and it is now worthless . Don't buy any G2's you see advertised.

I have a the same shock unit you are talking about and that sucks. I have been hearing for a while now that Garmin was going to try and weed out some of its older products. Well I guess the rumors are true. I know they are no longer making the dc 40 collars anymore either which means if you own a Astro 220 your screwed too. I guess that's one way of boosting sales......It just sucks for the loyal customer........

Well ,I called the clinic and the batteries they had are all gone. Only option is to buy a new G3 transmitter. Garmin/tri-tronics does not sell the transmitter only
The clinics prices are in line with most other places and they offered a trade in on the G2 . Had to buy a new cradle too.I did not want to wait until the battery was totally shot so I already put the old unit in the mail to them.

I don't like it that even though the G2's are dc'ed that the batteries were not continued to be made available .Not very good for customers confidence of parts availability for future purchases .I was hoping to get 10 years or more out of mine.3 1/2 years is a bunch of bull.
If it were not for still having the two good collars I would have took my purchase to another brand .
Like the man said good for their sales bad for my pocket.
