Lee Crawford

Can anyone tell me more info about this hunt on how to get qualified, where its held, and any details you might have would be appreciated.

Also do you need to qualify to hunt in any UKC state hunt?

To get qualified you have to place in a rqe before the hunt in April. UKC moves it around from year to year ain't for sure where it will be held this year

you need to place at a walker sectional for a lee crawford plus there is a pup hunt that night for any pups under 2 yrs old the day of the event (no need to qualify for pup hunt).

for state hunts you can just go and hunt no qualifing

Thanks for the info when you place at a walker sectional does it have to be a first place win or is it similar to an RQE where top ten gets qualified?

To get qualified for the lee crawford hunt you go to a walker secectional the Gr. Nt. Ch. Winner the Nt. Ch winner and 1st,2nd,3rd place reg. Dogs get qualified. You have to be a paid up member of the TWBFA before going to the woods in order to get qualified plus they give nice plaques to the high scoring male and female.

Thanks Duane- Can I payup at entry and how much does it cost? More answers generate more questions - lol

$20 per calendar year for a membership. Yearbook, ballot and newletter mailed in March of the year following your membership. You can join at any sectional. Walker Days is in Montpelier, Ohio in 2013 and 2014.
