Purple Ribbon pups
Sara I have a female that is out of Perche creek Bo, who's dam is Etringers Cricket. Would the pups out of my female be purple ribbon bred.
Let me know the numbers of the proposed sire and dam and I will be happy to tell you if the pups will be purple ribbon bred.
The proposed sire's ukc number is xxxxxxxx
The proposed dam's ukc number is xxxxxxxx
No, the pups would not be Purple Ribbon Bred. I xxxxxd the numbers in your post for security reasons.
why wouldnt they the sire is, and i have proof of 3 generations of registered dogs on the dams side
Because Cricket was found to be excluded from the sire and so that opened up the pedigree on his side.
but, why is cricket excluded, they dont know who her sire is, but she is still ukc registered, so is bo, andmy pup trixie, thatgivesmeproofofthree generations, so ifi breed her to a purple ribbon dog i should havepurple ribbon pups, correct?
UKC registration doesn't always mean a dog is Purple Ribbon Bred. For example, any single registered dog is not Purple Ribbon Bred.
UKC makes every effort to locate the correct sire when a dog has received a DNA exclusion. If we cannot, we open up the pedigrees so we are not hurting innocent people like yourself. The other option would be to cancel the records of all offspring.
