I went with valley creek pro. There nice chaps, but the fit is awful. There huge around your thigh/ almost like clown pants. I would get custom fitted ones.

It doesn't matter what boot chap combo I buy boots just don't hold up to that many miles. The chaps are dans or yoder.

I HAVE BEEN AT IT FOR A LIL OVER 20 YEARS AND NEVER BEEN BITTEN . I SEE MAYBE 2 COTTON MOUTHS A YEAR AND MOST OF THE TIME THAT IS IN THE SPRING, MAYBE ONE COPPERHEAD A YEAR AND THAT IS WHAT THE DOGS DRUG UP IN THE YARD MOST OF THE TIME. AND MAYBE A RATTLER EVERY FEW YEARS IN THE WOODS BUT I ( DO NOT) HUNT SNAKES LOL.

I will normally encounter 5-6 rattlesnakes per year, a few cottonmouths, and a multitude of copperheads. Been fairly lucky until this past April. Got struck by a 5 foot timber rattler, but the Heavy 1000 deneir valley creek chap held him off. Redgy doesn't sell them for snake proof that i know of, but they are. Oh yeah, that is one that won't be biting anymore.
