How did you name your kennel?

I was reading some of the posts and reading different kennel names in signatures and it made me wonder how you all named your kennels.

Kennel name

My kennel name is PUNGO FERRY ENGLISH KENNELS.The PUNGO section of Va. Beach,Va. is kinda like the last frontier of Va. Beach.Down the road a piece is a road called PUNGO FERRY RD.It crosses the NORTH LANDING RIVER,which is actually part of the inter-coastal waterway that stretches all the way down the EAST COAST.Way back in the day, there used to be a wharf(where they used to load grain, hogs, cattle and just about anything)from that point into Norfolk,Va. or,for that matter, south into the CURRITUCK SOUND and points further south via the inter-coastal waterway.Talk about a great place to train a young dog----OH MY LORD!!!!

i use branchville mtn, the reason being is that the intersection i live in is branchville. i figure in a couple of years it wont even show up on a map. back in the day this used to be the boom town. the railroad used to go up 99 to erie and it was the only transportation for people heading there, besides horse, and this was one of the few places people could stop. so, i live on top of a big ole hill in branchville in an 1800's house that was one of the original buildings. i am trying to keep the town alive, even if it is in a kennel name.

The reason I named mine triple creek kennels, the property I grew up on and hunted all my life has three creeks that come together. It's also the same place I saw my first coon up a tree and is the same property I live on now.Just seemed fitting since it was where it all started.
