My white lightning head will burn a hole in a tree but at the same time you can turn it way way down low i love it and i have had coon looking at it when it was pretty bright only draw back it is a little heavy but my friends kelly g2 is the same you wont go wrong with any of those 2 lights i am also sure valley creek builds a good one.
thanks

I bought a white lightning head and man is it bright.BUT,be prepared,if you use a Garmin it will mess it up.

I don't have problems with my garmin and white lightning what problems r u having
I have a G2 it also will interfere with my garmin but it is really no big deal if I turn the rheostat down on the head it does not do it. The rheostat is real sensitive and takes some getting used to, but the advantages greatly outweigh any disadvantages.
a lot of led lights will make the garmin show direction, dogs , and waypoints 180 degrees in the opposite direction than they really are. have seen first hand the tim's led and the valley creek led light do this. note they don't always affect the garmin, usually when you least expect it. makes it kinda hard to find your dog or get back to the truck. it seems to only do it when the light is on high. most of the time you can cut the light off and hit the map button on the garmin again and it will fix it.

It totally messes up the reading,it will act like you need to recalibrate the compass.I need to completely shut it off, wait probably five to ten seconds to get an accurate reading,Doesnt sound like much but its a pain in the backside.
