Who will be judging the bench show?

Save a parking place for me - I'll be there bringing a variety of colors.

Thanks to all

I wanted to say thank you to everyone who took part in the Louisiana State hunt. Eddie Basco was the overall winner with double cast wins, one of those making his dog Lil P a night champion. He won the cast i was on Friday night with 325+ and turned around and won again Saturday night with 550+. Great job Eddie and Lil P. We had 26 dogs in the hunt on Friday night and 38 dogs in the hunt Saturday. It was a great turn out and the club in Haughton was a great host yet again. Thanks to Chris Guice and all the Haughton members. Thanks again to everyone who came out and supported La. Next up, the State Youth Hunt June 19th.

Nite Champion Champion Comrade Creek's Lil P won the night hunt part of the hunt.

She won her cast Friday night with 325+ with no minus or circle points on the card. She was fortunate to be on a cast that hunted on Barksdale airbase in some of the finest woods in the state.

Friday night first tree made.

She won her cast Saturday night (Nite Champion cast) with 550+ with 225 circle.

We hunted in some more beautiful woods just outside Bodcaw Managment Area. The cast scored on 5 different coons and one den.

I would like to take the time to say THANK YOU to the guides and to the host club that made this hunt a success.

I was very pleased to see all the folks hunting in this hunt. Members that hunt PKC hunts and members that hunt UKC. Makes for a good hunt.

Thanks for the state officers that make this hunt happen and I hope it continues to grow.

THANKS

Comrade Creek

Congrats to the winners!!! Ya'll done a great job with the hunt in my opinion and I also had the luxury of having Rump as my guide and Judge on Sat. night. Thanks for an enjoyable hunt pleasure or competition. Cull some of those possums for me so maybe next time I may be more successful. LOL!

So what were some of the other scores? That is one of the few things I miss about Bdale and that was some dang fine woods to hunt in. BTW I just got my permit to run bear so you'll have to find a reason to come up to Elmendorf this summer. Are they any other guys guiding on Barksdale or still just you?

Scott guided a Nite Champ cast out there and they only scored one coon the night our cast had 425+. Friday night he guided a registered cast and my walker female won with 100+. 375+ won on Friday night with Loggerhead. The blue dogs were outshined by the Walkers, English and, Black and Tan. Go Figure!!! lol
I'll bring Sarge up for them bear. We might need the extra grit!
