ukc hunt Tullos, La

i'll be going to this one. couldnt make it last weekend but my buddy went and had a good time. said it was a good hunt with good people. anybody here planning to make it?

Tullos CHA Turn north on Hwy. 165 off of Hwy. 84. Go 1 mi. Turn right on New Union Baptist Church Rd. Take immediate left. Go 1/2 mi. Club on right. Signs posted.

Tullos, La.

I went to the Tullos, La. bench shows last Friday and Saturday and plan to go next weekend also. Super nice club and friendly people. The club members have worked hard on this new clubhouse and grounds. Also, I'd like to mention their BSJ & HD, Steve Roark is an asset to the club with his knowledge and helpful advice.

I went to the hunt Sat. night and my dog embarrassed me. He acted like a young pup in training that didn't really have a clue.
I may make one this weekend also, the cast I drew were all good people. Well I guess a dog is just a dog on any given night.

Skyblu, I think that was your little walker tied up right outside the clubhouse last night, right? They said it was for a couple from texas. That was one beautiful dog and I'm not a walker guy, lol.
I had a good time on my cast. Didn't come away with anything but I met some good people and watched my buddy make nitech with his dog. I wish I could make the trip again tonight.

The Walker is White Deer Sparkle Walker. She completed her wins on Friday to make GRAND SHOW CHAMPION. She also hunts, so hopefully she'll be busy in the woods ASAP working toward her NITE CH titles. Her owner is Wesley Shadrock of Center, Texas. Her breeder is Joe Burkett III.
Orval Roberts, a nationally recognized Plott man brought a gyp to the show & "Rita" now has 45 points toward her show championship. Orval usually just hunts his dogs & I hope the club members will help him get her shown at future events as he needs a little help with bench show procedures.
