South Carolina Hunting Season

Hey yall,
Does anyone know if SC has a period of the year when you cant run dogs? If so could you let me know what it is.

No we can run Year round.

They used to close it down during the summer months but because of the souith carolina coonhunters association there was legislation passed to allow us to run yr. round now.

You can run dogs year round on private property. No running dogs on WMA's from around March 1 to around Sept 15th. It depends on which game zone you are in.

I wasn't sure , but I figured turkey season starting April 1st
would be a factor. Not a good thing to have corn on private land and a turkey hunter getting a fine for hunting near bait.
