Tape Worm

What do I use for tape worm, or do I have to go to the vet. I have a dog that eats good, but seems to stay very thin.

GO TO TRACTOR SUPPLY AND GET ZIMECTIN GOLD IT WILL KILL ALL 3 TYPES OF TAPEWORM. IT WILL ALSO PREVENT HEARTWORMS WHEN GIVEN MONTHLY.

ivomec kills all worms

You can check for tapeworms by sight. They will look like rice grains in the stool. You can use Zimectrin Gold ( ivermectin and praziquantel) or you can simply buy praziquantel in the pill form at most feed stores.
Ivermectin will not kill tapeworms.... if it did there would be no need to include praziquantel on Zimectrin Gold.

Ok my .2 cents worth!

Go to the vet and by Drontal Plus. Its per weight. Will get most worm inc. tapes, I think.
