Need Some Prayers

A good friend of ours was born with a genetic issue and both of his kidneys were removed when he was younger. He has been living on dialysis for years. Rob has been hooked up to the machine every other day for 8 hours at a time and has had to regulate himself to a very strict diet. Fortunately, he got a call today that they had a match for him and that he would be able to finally get a kidney and get off of that machine! He is headed toward the hospital now for the surgery - 6 hour notice for major surgery isn't much but I don't ever think I've seen him move so fast! He has been coon hunting with us a few times (on days between dialysis) and is one of the nicest fellows you could ever meet. We would like to also extend our prayers to the family who lost a loved one, but gave so generously so that our friend will be able to live a normal life. I hope that they know the gift that their loved one has given and can perhaps find some comfort in that.

Our thoughts and Prayers

Are with your friend and the family who has lost a loved one. My husband Bob and his 2 boys were able to give the gift of a few lives when his late wife Shelley died in 200 at the age of 41. It is a special gift. I have always been saddened that I will never be able to do the same, since I had Hepatitis years ago. It is an AMAZING life giving gift. ALSO, the family of the donor WILL feel comfort from the knowledge of saving a life!
May your friends get thru the surgery fine and Thrive, and we will be with him and you in thought and prayer,

I sure hope and pray for the best for Rob , and that God will supply all of Rob's need's , and also to Bless the family who loss their loved one , Praying that God will comfort them , and give them , the Peace of God that passeth all understanding .
