A Couple of Pictures From A Nasty Cold Night

A buddy, his granddaughter and I went a little round Friday night. The temp dropped down into the single digits, and there was a strong wind coming out of the west, right off the Rockies.

It was cold.

We didn't have the best hunt, but I did take a couple of pictures of my Ned pup, 12 months old, treed on an honest den by himself after a long, rough track.

Thanks, Tony. I am liking him pretty well. He is a good looker with that big mouth we all like.

He has been about as natural and easy a youngster as I have started, with not much correction needed. It's a pleasure to hunt one that doesn't really have to be "trained," just hunted.
