Ormiston blues

Does anyone have or know of any blueticks from Guy Ormiston's breeding??
If so, tell me what you know about them, good or bad. Use private messaging if you wish.
Thank you.

Have you hunted with him or his dogs?

here is what i can tell you about the one we got.

good mouth
independant
hunted/ran track naturally
more track than tree minded
good looking
great disposition
good intelligence
trashy

in the right hands and the right amount of hunting, i believe ours could make a nice dog.

I HAVE HUNTED WITH HOUNDS FROM HIS BREEDING. SOME WERE GOOD SOME WERE BAD BUT NONE WERE ANY BETTER THAN HOUNDS FROM ANY OTHER BREEDING.

I have hunted with Guy some, and owned some from that bloodline.

Old Sheba was a fine female, good as a man would want to hunt with.

I owned the July dog they used to advertise from the time he was a pup. I let a guy have him, and he swapped him back to Guy.

He was real independent, had a good mouth, and was super accurate.

He wasn't exactly a speed demon on track, but could sure tree coon.

Like all bloodlines, some good and some not so good.

John, was July as fast as the dogs that you're presently hunting?
