Hunt Results Niota Ill

I got to sit on the other side of the table for this one. Temps was in the low teens with 6" of snow on the ground. We had folks show up within a 5 hr radius.

10 nt ch's entered
7 open registered entered

1 st place open registered- GR CH RIVERBLUFF GRINDSTONE COWBOY UP. Plott, This finished cowboy to nt ch as well, Scott Rosson

1 st place nt ch - NT CH COLD SWEAT, TW, Curt Ahrings

Hey Tony they sure do have a nice club house up there. Man it wasn't the best hunting conditions but had a good time. If I was closer I would make more hunts to that club there is some good hunting around there.

Good for Scott! I hunted with Cowboy at Plott days this past year. I can't say much for him, none of the dogs looked like a plug nickel to be honest, but Scott is one nice guy. He is as straight shootin' as I've seen in a long time. Good job Scott and Cowboy!

28 dogs entered
14 open
14 nt chs

1 st place open registered
nt ch rattlers runnin rose (this finished her)

2 nd place
Dave Beeber ,IA cannot remember dogs name (someone help me out here).

2 open dead casts

Nt ch
Tequilla Sunrise , Buzz Lynch

this hunt has drawn some of the top dogs in the country the last 2 hunts, you think you are coming to a small local club for easy pickens, you better think again lol.

Congratulations Tony.

I heard there were some surprised guys when they found out they were hunting with Tequila Sunrise. Sounded like it was a good cast.
