What's your favorite food or drink from back in the day?

Do you guys have a favorite food or drink that you just can't get anymore? I was just thinking about this earlier, they used to have a samitch at Arby's called the Santa Fe'. It had chicken and shredded cheese on it I think.

I also miss the Pepsi Crystal!! Don't know if anyone out there remembers that kinda soda. Pepsi also had some time of summer time flavor or tropical thing that was good.

What are some of your old time favorites that you miss?

Wisconsin Cheese Soup, I not seen it on any menu except for a little bar in Salem Ohio, man was it good but you could taste it all night long.

The Meijers stores up here sell both Tab and Fresca.

I miss those little chewy candies called "Squirrel Nut Chews". They cost a penny each, & they would pull your fillings out, if you weren't careful !!

I also miss the Orange Julius kiosk at the shopping Mall.

There used to be a restaurant called Cheddars, they had some awesome cheese soup like that.

When I was a kid one of my favorite soda's was Cherokee Red. Homemade Ice cream, hadn't had any of that since my grandparents passed over 20 year ago.

yea, GA DAWG I was planning on my trip to Georgia in the near future but trying to hit a sunny warm week. My sister in law lives near Newnan and we go down for a few days and the women go shopping and sight seeing while I go golfing. Been trying to talk the wife into letting me take a dog with me but that ain't working out as of yet. Usually go first week of March.

I remember the a&w stands my grandpa used to take me to get a root beer float every Sunday those foot long chilie dog looked two foot long those floats were in a real glass mug to !!!

Yah they went the way of toy guns and froghorn leghorn. It's all a bad influence on our kids today. Meanwhile have you really sat down and watched the shows your kids watch today?
That's about as far as I should go on that subject or I'll go off on one of my rants. LOL
