Bark Collar

Done a search on bark collars, most opinions was a couple yrs old. My question is what is the best one going now? Dog never barks when I'm home, but goes like hell I guess when I'm gone. Want something that throws the heat.

I like my Garmin TrashBreaker collars. I use them for bark collars. They have a no bark mode. Just hold the power button until the light changes blue and it’s on No-Bark. I think they are TB10 collars. I removed the antennas. Young dogs will chew them off. They keep charge good. I believe they have about the best shock you can get but I could be wrong. I wouldn’t hold it on myself and try it but I don’t like electric LOL!
I also have some Garmin Deluxe no bark collars which are about half price of the TrashBreaker collar. I have one of those that false shocks my dogs when they don’t need it. I don’t care for that. But the other Garmin deluxe collars work just fine. I’ve had them a year and no problems yet. Seems to me about any Garmin collar I buy only last me a year then I have to send it back to them for a replacement. But I use them alot.
I’m sure there are other good ones also

I’ve had better luck with the Dogtra YS 600 than the garmin. Both work well when they are new. I have had 3 or 4 of the garmin bark limiters and none of them worked consistently right by a year old. I have 2 YS 600s one is probably around 2 years old and the other is getting close to a year old and both still works. The intensity numbers have wore off the older one but I remember where to set the dial.

I have 6 of the Garmin No-Bark collars. I have nothing but good to say about them. 2 of the 6 I’ve had for six years with absolutely no issues. I’ve nothing but good to say about them. I’ve got 2 dogs that wear them everyday. I’ve never had an issue with any of them. That said, 2 of the 6 I bought at a reduced price when they came out with the next version. Those I’ve not used yet. The 4 that I use regularly I swap out on a rotation schedule. I run (2) until they need charging then use the other 2 until they need charge. I used a Dremel engraver and numbered them so I can keep track of them in the charging cycle.

First of all let me say that I love Garmin products I have alot of Garmin products. I have two Garmin barklimiter deluxe collars and they will both shock the pee out of a dog at random times (for moving to quick, eating food, drinking water) I bought 2 sportdog nobark SBC-R collars a few months ago and they do not do that, when a dog barks it will shock them. In my opinion there is no comparison. I've seen several other folks say that the garmin collars shocks at random times as well
