New Purple Paint Law

Indiana has passed this law recently that allows landowners to simply paint a purple stripe on property boundaries as an alternative to No Hunting / No Trespassing signs. So I guess at this point hunters need to not only teach their dogs to READ but also be aware of colors.

We will know the outlaw tresspassers when hunting.....they will be the ones with a can of hardwood brown paint in their back pockets! ROFL

We've had purple paint in MO for years but land owners also have to allow dogs to be retrieved or they can be charged with stealing your dog a felony for anything worth over $500. We still have to ask for permission to go get dogs, it doesn't allow you to trespass if they don't comply you call the law and then they let you go get your dogs. If your state has strong possession of stolen property laws the purple paint shouldn't affect you much.

bad deal

Just got though paying for schooling. Ol Rivers can read and write now, but I didn't think see need to know her colors. Wonder just what that class will cost me? I was going to send her to singing lesson, I'll have to put that on hold.

My dog is color blind so here in Virginia the land owner can use white paint but a little can of gray spray paint the color of timber can open it right back up again
