Zero turn mower mechanics?

Hey guys I was trying to mow my yard for the last time yesterday and ran into some trouble.

The mower is a 2006 Troy Bilt 50 inch zero turn model. The deck welds all broke Saturday and the blades quit running when the deck came loose. I got the deck all welded back exactly how it was and put the belt back on all the correct pulleys. My question is everything is secured and where it should be but my PTO switch won't engage my blades. When I flip the PTO switch the belt turns and the blades but very slow.

The battery won't hold a charge at all and I have been jumping it the last few times to mow. The mower starts right up when jumped but could the weak battery be the reason the blades won't engage?

charge your battery up then try it!! need enough power to turn clutch swt on !!to keep engaged!! just a thout!!

I think I'll just buy a new battery and hope that fixes it lol

Take the gas cap off slide a 60in Faris under it, screw cap on, Problem solved!
