Looking for a Misplaced Redbone Male

The dog I am looking for was being by a young hunter in SE Ga. The dog was traded without my permission and we are in the process of allowing the authorities to handle the matter . When the young man was hunting the dog I was unable to due to my health, as of now I am able to start back up and allow my 12 year old son to start back handling his hound . The dog is 6 yrs. old this coming November and we are looking forward to seeing him again . I have pictures and videos can describe hound to T. If you have any info please help us find Scrappy !!!!

Misplaced dog

If it's the one i belive it is it was for sale on Facebook ! And trade on here for for some beagles don't know the outcome of what happend to him guess i should of bought him when i had the chance . Good luck on your search hope you find him .

Holding out hope

Thanks very much for the info , I have no issue with the purchaser just hope They will help get justice for my son , he raised him from a pup , sleep with him , taught him to lead etc.. now that I able to start hunting again I look forward to either Scrappy coming home or finding another hound that a boy can grow up with .

Update

What we understand as of now is that the dog was sold in either Mississippi or Missouri we are hoping the young man will provide more information as we continue to speak with him I do not like to put people's names out there but if you bought a dog from Southeast Georgia we sure would like to hear back from you thanks

HUNTERS BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN COMES TO YOUR HOUNDS ! IT APPEARS THAT OWNING A HOUND DOESN'T GIVE YOU RIGHTS ! THE YOUNG MAN WHO SOLD MY DOG HAS TOLD THE SHERIFF DEPT. THAT THE OWNER OF THE HOUSE WHERE THE DOG WAS PICKED FROM TOLD THE BOY HE COULD HAVE THE DOG . UPON THAT STATEMENT NOW IT'S UP TO ME TO PROVE I OWN THE DOG . YES THE BOY AND I TALKED BEFORE HE GOT DOG ETC. , BUT THAT DOESN'T MATTER . MYSELF AND MY FRIEND HAVE BOTH TOLD DEPUTIES HE DIDN'T OWN OR WASN'T GIVING DOG , BUT IT'S UP TO ME TO PROVE IT FUTHER !

Take pics/video & reg. papers with your name on them to police. That should prove you own dog & they should keep investigating. Take care, Ron.

Dog license # and rabie tag # may help. We had our dog stolen yrs ago....live and learn. Ruby and Dandy are microchipped.
