Allen
What's the deal with these weird posts showing up in this section and even worse in the Bluetick & B/T for sale ???

.

I can tell you what it is, I can't tell you what the correction process is.

Someone is spamming the site with these bogus post. There is generally a reason for this from advertising to slipping a virus into someones computer. I don't open them so I can't tell you which it is.

Lots of times these are computer generated and that is why you see a lot of websites have a code or set of numbers you have to type in to enter.

I am sure Cory is working on this and will have a fix soon. My recommendation for now is don't click on them and for sure don't open them and follow any links anywhere.

I figured as much, Bruce. I haven't opened any but just keep seeing them pop up.

It's spam Patrick. Like Bruce said, I wouldn't try to open any links within those type of threads for the fear of a virus entering your computer. Trust me, I've been on the receiving end of some pretty serious viruses. They can become an epidemic and spread further than just your own computer in a split second.

Best advice...... if it looks fishy, it probably is. Don't chance it.

They just started being frequent not long ago, I see outside advertisements at the bottom of all pages now. Do they have something to do with one another? What I mean is since the site has those advertisements now is it opening a door for them?
