What Stud is the next Sacket Jr.
everyone knows what a reproducer Sacket Jr. was , and dying at a young age there is no telling what his numbers would have ended up being. there is also Lipper that has left a mark in history, both of these were before the internet so their publicity want what it could have been.
what dog do you think people will be talking about for years to come like these two? alive or dead.
Rat,Harry, trackman,mojo, possibly bone collecter and zeb3

They will never be a reproducer like Sackett. JR. IT just wasn't his ability to reproduce alone. They were alot of females that came out of him that reproduced just like him. That's what I miss most about Jay.
I agree there will never be another Sackett Jr. If he would have lived longer theres not another dog that could touch his records. He crossed good on anything he was bred to didn't matter what the female was off of.I think that Rat Attack was as close to him as we will see.Just look at the top producers list and what they go back to (Male or Female)
BONECOLLECTOR
Without a doubt.

whos going to fill the shoes of the breeders that took every dog in the top ten producing list to the top my hats off to the time and dedication it took to accomplish such task it will take a dedicated man not just a dog to reach the top ten list
Jr. was a flat out reproducer. Love him or hate him, numbers don't lie. I personally don't think they'll ever be a stud break Rat Attack or Sackett Jr.'s numbers simply because THERE IS SO MANY STUD DOGS ADVERTISED TODAY. Back then you pretty much just had major events, the magazines, and word of mouth, to ADVERTISE and get your hounds name out. Making it very hard for a new or up coming stud to get any publicity, unless he won a big hunt, or ran a ad in one of the magazines. Now a days you have major events, several magazines, you tube, facebook, message forums, and several other ways to get your hounds NAME out, and to potentially show what they can do. Another major factor is that the number of people entering hunts now a days is way down. Used to have 30-40 dogs enter every hunt, now were lucky to get 4 cast.
