-- Lexington Ky Area? (http://forums.ukcdogs.com/showthread.php?threadid=928381013)
Lexington Ky Area?
Is there anyone from that area on here? My wife an I are thinking of moving to the area, Being she has been offered a really good paying job there and I can't find a job here in Pike co Ky. There are 25,000 people competing for 200 jobs here and its only getting worse. There are no jobs here for anyone to make a living at. I was just curious Is there any coon hunting goes on around that area and what are the parts of Lexington to avoid? Thanks for any help.
You need to message marty vincent. He lives in lexington. He can tell you everything you need to know. About time you come down off that mountain top and chase these flat land coons!!!! Their easier!!! Lol
Hey did that pup start treeing yet? I got one doing the same crap!!!!

I let a coon go for her the other day here is a video. I took them out Saturday and they never pulled the first bark. That hasn't happened in a LONG time. Click on pics for video. I hate to move. But, I have been laid off since Feb and can't find a job in Pike co that pays more than $8 an hr and Friday my wife and I went to Lexington for a job interview for her. I went to 2 places and was offered 4 jobs starting at $12 an hr.

Well i hope you find something. I was born and raised in the country were you couldnt even see the neighbors house. Now i live in a sub division were i can step on the porch and spit on the neighbors porch. It takes alot of getting use to and i fit in like a sore thumb!!! Only one up the street i beleive that does any type of hunting. I come in at day light alot of mornings from coon hunting and you should see the looks i get!!!! Good luck!!

Several hunters around. I sent you a pm with my number . Call me , I can maybe help you out . Thanks
I live in a sub division, and have made a lot of new friends because of it. My kids always have neighbors to play with. My neighbors go hunting with me quite a bit even thouh they don't own hounds. My dogs are all trained not to bark it takes some doing, but they are more then capable of learning that.
Just try to live nearby some state land, so you don't have to drive far to hunt.
It's not ideal for hunting hounds, but I still own a couple and get to go hunting. It's also important to keep your priorities in order hunting is a hobby, at the end of the day. Your career is far more important, and effects not only you but your future, and family. Possibly even your health, if you don't have medical insurance.
your right hootowl thing are getting worse in these old mountains hate to hear you may be moving but you gotta make a living and bills gotta be paid best of luck to you
