Dredd hounds?

Can anyone give me some information on Dredd hounds? Anyone hunted with them with some feedback good or bad?

Thanks Jamie for your response. I would like to hear more about how young the pups are starting and how they learn, are the louder than normal and so on. Any info is appreciated. Anyone else know anything about theses hounds?

me and my dad have one out of dredd and a female out of x jr u talk about drive he just flat out stays on the move likes to tree lay ups big ball mouth hard tree dog i really like him

Thanks for the response. I have an all grand pup coming off cha ching and dredd here soon. This is the first pup I have bought so I didn't want to buy anything with a bad rep.

Have full sister to the pup u getting 7months old and have 3 year old from dreed awesome and smart hunts hard

I've had two off dredd. The first one had no brains, she barked all the time no matter what you did to her. She had a nice mouth and a nice handle on her. She was bad about running back track and if she did locate and sit down to tree, she would move within a couple minutes unless it was super hot. See her free a couple hot coons. But usually would back track on them. She looked good on the bench and was a good built female. Second female, super quick on the ground looking to get treed. She does miss some, but her speed makes up for it. She is very action packed little hound. Good locate and good tree dog that likes to be by herself and will be there till you get there. Not the best mouth, but distinct enough to call. Opens a lot on the ground, but not a babbler. Super smart dog and no problems around the house, box, or tree. She is a fun little hound to hunt. But then again it takes two to tangle and the mother influences as much or more as dredd.
