December Squirrel Hunt in Michigan w/ West Siberian Laika
My son and I had a great hunt. It was a little cold and snowing, but our dog Daisy treed nine times with seven squirrels in the bag, and two den trees. The last set had three trees with four squirrels all within 30 yards. Daisy busted up a squirrel party! As we shot squirrels, she would switch to the next tree until we killed all four.

Snow Too Deep
Weather is really bad now. Got about 18 inches of snow in 24 hours. Drifting, and below zero. Next sunny day the squirrels will be out for sure. Just need snow shoes on. Will really burn the calories then!

we have been lucky where I live only about an in., cold aroune 0 -20 at nite & 20 - 30 in daytime.it's been a while since we have had a major snow storm. past few yrs. rain & ice freezing on power lines have been our biggest problem. enjoy your dog when you can she sure is a nice one.
