Starting a dog

I have had better results by starting them by themselves both my hounds and cur. I take them walking in the woods and let them figure it out. It may take longer, but I'm happier with the results.

I have a close -medium hunting female that is good with pups. She's easy for them to keep up with, and she's a good check dog. Caint say she trains them, I use her to evaluate them as to how far along they are. Either way when they start getting serious I single them out and hunt them by their self.

Just hunt them by their self that way they will be a betterdog in the long run and not pick up any bad traits from the other dog
