Coon crazy
I have a young English gyp out of spring creek hair trigger born 6/5/12 Ben treeing own coon several months now doing good in pretty much every way but is craziest thing over a coon I ever saw cant hardly get her off of coon or get to go on hunting if have coon hide on you or truck any suggestions thanks
my male was same way
Had to get a little mean with him he's good now. He would jump over bed of truck and get the coon back out was crazy not saying to get mean just its what worked for me.

May have too got to get mean and almost choke out to get off coon unless let her woller on it for like ten minutes until she gets tired of it never had one this bad
my buddy has a 5 yr old black gyp same way she gets a death grib on a coon and won't let go he try the ole blow in the ear thing didn't work even took a stick and pry her off it then that quit working he does like you ty her up and when she gets tard he get it away from her but after he gets it away from her she goes right back to hunting till the next 1 he let her have
When it's over just say , that's enough, dead . Then give a little tickle with tritronics. Lead away from tree, and recast. Dog will probably try to go back. Be ready as soon as they do, give em a little tickle. A few times of this , and when you say enough, it will be over. Also works for just recasting off a tree. Setting on the tritronics depends on the dog. Some take more, some less. In this case I would tend to keep it as light as possible. Important,,,, no screaming or yelling , just firm commands.
my female is the same way once a coon comes out of the tree she don't wan to leave it alone. I've been working on her with a green switch and she is getting better about but not all the way broke. ive heard you could also bump them with some electricity when you tell them dead and they will get the idea pretty quick.
