Voter ID

I see where THE SUPREME COURT struck down some of the outdated Voting laws of yester year. But, Would someone please tell me why, With having to produce a Picture ID to get ALMOST EVERYTHING in this Country, WHY IT'S A PROBLEM TO PRODUCE ONE TO VOTE? To me it's a NO-BRAINER, UNLESS YOU'RE TRYING, AND SUCCEDING IN STEALING ELECTIONS. Please wade in with your opinions!!

Because like anything else it is a right to vote. I for one can speak for my grandparents who have not had a license or driven for years. In their everyday life they do not need a photo ID. They catch a volunteer bus to the voting booth. They do not drive and they are in a rural area. My grandfather served in WWII and has as much, if not more right to vote then anyone, so why just because he has no pic ID should he not have the right to vote?

I have had to show my ID every year since I started voting in 1977.

because they should care about the validity of each vote to care enough to get one.... even if that means taking a few minutes of your time to help them get it done.... every vote cast legally should count one time the rest should be cut out

Around here, you have to have a PHOTO ID to cash checks, Buy Cigs or BEER. Might be more things, but I don't UNDERSTAND the ARGUMENT BY The LIBS that It's Demeaning to MINORITIES to get Photo ID'S. I guess I don't BUY that Angle. I believe it's EASIER to VOTE MULTIPLE TIMES Without one. I also don't approve of EARLY VOTING, Just Adds to the Problem of Inaccuracies.
