Buying a pup
Do you check the upper root of a pups mouth when picking one? Lets say it's not 50% dark maybe spoted.
The first one that gets away from its litter mates and wonders on its own is the one I want most of the time.
Please answer
You don't care about the dark root mouth?
The color of the roof of their mouth would be the least of my worries. If you are going to pick a pup based on their mouth, I would first look at their bite, then hope that they had a loud one

The most successful pup starters i know of don't even pick their pups, they just take what Is left.
