help bring treeing out in a pup
I have a 8 month old male that will run tracks and usually be first strike and run with a nitechampion male that will finish the track n have the coon but the pup will just be within 40 yards of the tree going back and forth but wont tree unless it scalding hot out of a creek. Is there anything I can do to help him look up
See what the pup will do alone.
He's off a big name stud dog so I thought he might be to independent minded to tree with another dog maybe? I'm just young n dumb trying to b a dog trainer lol
Btt
Took him last night n he struck a track at 60 yards n went to 175 n thru 3 long locates n went to chopping had the coon so guess ill be hunting him alone from now on
The ole nitech might not be one that will let him tree with him.
No I've run other dogs n buddy's pups with him he'll back off of tree n let a dog have the tree before fighting and I was always trying to stay as close as I could without interfearing with them n have had the old dog treed way before the pupgot to the tree n was there waiting on him n still wouldn't tre
