The cheapest way is to ask on here, who is going from point A to point B. Then you pay them some money to do so. They get their gas paid for, and you get your dog. It has to work for everyone or else it is just a pain.

Find someone from your area that is going to a big hunt where the dog/pup is. Then offer to pay a reasonable fee for their help. Most folks could use the extra money and I have found that most coonhunters will help another coonhunter. Be careful on who you choose.
