has anybody had problems losein signal at 200 yards this is 2nd garmin to do this every body else still picks up collars
yup bought used one someone overtightened ant broke two wires that go to board inside i took apart saw problem took to local wizard/geek he replaced two wires and solder charged me 2bucks of coarse i tipped him works like new or call bruce conkey at 386 972 4937 hope this helps
Go to garmins website and download the update wizard for it. All you gotta do is plug your garmin into your computer and update it. Update the collar as well, if this doesn't help there may be a more serious problem.
its your antenna on your collar....ive put 3 or 4 different ones on my collars over the last few years and usually when they would lose signal at 200 yds. thats a sign the antenna is junk.
have you been using it around marine/ham radios?
have used around radios has not affected anyother garmin
high wattage of these radios can burn a garmin up
