Redbone/Black & Tan

First off Ive never been color blind to a good one. Ive just found it easyier to find an average or above average Walker dog But was wondering IF a guy wanted to hunt one of the above breeds what bloodlines throw a bigger % of good track AND TREE dogs? Ones that "hunt" like the walkers??

And I dont want that post to sound like one breed out of any are better than another. Im just looking into other breeds to hunt something different.........

if you want a more accurate you might want to find a good redbone i have tried all breeds never had a lot of trash problems out of the red dogs i had 2 red dogs and a blck/tan female last season up till jan my health got me down and had to get rid of my hounds first blck dog i had sense in the early 70s she was a coondog but after the first coon she would go as deep as need be to find one i just never did have to look at a lot of slick trees with a red dog like i did with the walker dogs and i bought top bred pups and never had to look half the night trying to find them or waiting for someone to call and say i got your walker dog 10 miles from where you was hunting they have some good bred red dogs that will go jmo

Thanks Hillbilly, Either the people that hunt these dogs are tight lipped about there bloodlines and dont want anyone to hunt them or there truly are no "GOOD" ones to be found. Thanks

Call and go hunt with Leonard Simpson, he has reddogs that get deep quick and can track and have the meat. 1 918 752 7560, he is in okla. probably not a long way from you.
