Iam to short for the taller box
I would rather have the regular height box just easier to see when backing the vehicle up,getting equiptment out, and less room if you put 2 dogs in them so they can't fight, and in the winter it would not be so hard for the dog to keep themselves warm on long trips.

I had the extra tall 32" box, can't see nothing out the back, makes changing lanes and backing up guess work, got a 24" tall box now.
with a short box a dog is less likely to bow up and crap in the box.

i just got a new regal with no top storage.the weight
differnt is unreal i couldnt imagine loading some of
these boxes or how a dog could ever heat 1 up after
a cold night of hunting.
Regular Box
I to, would rather have the regular height box. If you travel more than two hour's to a hunt, your hound will be more rested, as they will have to lay down in a shorter box. In the taller box they can stand up for longer periods, causing them to be tired. jmo
