kennel registration

how do you or do you register a kennel name with the kennel clubs?

registering kennel names!!

no as far as I know you do not register kennel names with the kennel clubs just the dogs.

the only place i know you can register your kennel name is in the fox hunting world with the chase or masterfox or somthing like that and still it means nothing.the fox guys do it thinking nobody can use that kennel name,that its "protected" but its not unless you license your kennel as business with your state anybody can use the name.

thanks for the info. my mother had her lab kennel registered with akc, ukc back in the day but that was her job/business. guess that was why.

UKC does not do the registered kennel name like AKC does.

must have been nkc maybe? i know she had kennel registered with 2 kennel clubs. been a long time though.

Barry, may of had been years ago. Your first post asked how to do it in the KC's and that is what I was replying to.

I know you can register the kennel name in AKC and have a form you have to fill out and mail in -- like anything, there is requirements of having a kennel name, # of breedings, and etc...

UKC doesn't register the kennel names.
