Tracking Systems

Just wondering, how many of you leave your system and collars in the top of your dogbox when you arent using them? I heard that it would mess the system and the collars up so I've always brought mine inside but I'm getting tired of having to tote it all around just to get the dogs ready to go hunting. Anyone ever had anyproblems that were caused by leaving the system or collars in the top of the dogbox????

the cold does pull the batterys down ,,
i try to bring mine in the house whenever i'm not going to be useing them every nite for that reason
and it makes it harder for someone to steal everything in one grabbing when you bring them inside,
on the inside they have to get past the jack russell to get to anything..lol..
