Got a late start tonight but cut loose at 8:30pm and I found them treed 3/4 mile with the meat, 45 mins later.I knocked it down and headed for the truck. 18 degrees and 15 to 20 mph winds Thats enough for me. I hardly used my light. Thats the 3rd boar we treed in 2 nights. I think they are starting to rut around here.

Last night

Left somewhere 'round 9:30 and got back in 'round 8:30 this morning. Tracker was acting up and a half a tank of gas later, I recovered the last dog. Don't know how I ever kept up with dogs before owning one. And I won't be going back 'till this ones fixed !

I hear ya on that. My step Dad was an old school coon/fox hunter and could not believe i was heading out the last 2 nights( between the moon and wind). I never heard a bark so if it were not for the tracking unit the last 2 nights we would have done alot of walking/driving also. I have the tracker 2 dog system and it seems to of saved my butt alot of walking/looking since i carry it with me all the time instead of leaving it in the truck like my old unit. As soon as these batteries need replaced i'm replacing them with the 2 smaller batteries for longer range just for my own sake. Glad to hear you got the dogs back, I have had a few late nights aswell but have never left one of my dogs in the woods over night.
