do some drags with a fresh hide. if he trees that live trap him a couple coons. then start him on some feeders. mite be a real independent dog. and thats a goog thing.

we have a dog that didn't show much interest when he went to the woods with the other hounds, a few caged coon turned loose where he could sight trail them, has made all the difference in the world. Let him bark at the cage with another dog for a while too. After you get him chasing the coon, put him back in the box after barking at the trap and don't let him see you turn it loose. He should start trailing then. Worked for our dog, hope this helps
