Use LA-200. 3cc by mouth for 3 days, then go off for 3 days. If no better after the 3 days off, go back to 3cc for 3 days.....Good Luck!PS You can get it at Tractor Supply...

LA-200 is oxytetracycline, an antibiotic. A dog that barks his mouth out doesn't need an antibiotic. Nothing but rest will help. It just has strained vocal cords. You could try some childrens cough syrup, but sometimes I think that makes us feel better rather than the dog. Just time, and keep the dog from barking for no reason and they should be fine. Loosening the collar sometimes works too, particulary if they're wearing a shock collar thats designed to be toight around the vocal chords.

Rest is best.
a friend of mine had a dog that lost her voice. he used pennicilin to bring it back. it took i am wantin to say 5 months. she barked her voice out becasue of the simple fact of someone caught her on there property and penned her up and wouldnt let us get her back. we had to bring in the police to get her back. she was there for a week. never shut up.
